Where to Take Clients in the Treasure Valley

The dates have been booked, the plane tickets secured, and the bags have been packed. Now the clients are coming to town, so the big question is how are you going to keep them entertained? We already covered some of our favorite dining spots in the Treasure Valley. Here are some of In Time Tec’s favorite spots to visit with clients.

Multiple Locations
  • Sunnyslope Wine Trail

A trail consisting of 17 wineries and vineyards in the Snake River Valley, it’s the perfect excuse to go sample some wines. Some of the wineries are even close enough together to bike between.

  • The Greenbelt

Living in Idaho, it’s easy to forget that not every state boasts tree-lined pathways and scenic walking paths. Seize the opportunity to take a beautiful walk through town and find a trail near you.

  • Idaho Parks

Idaho offers many scenic parks to show out-of-town guests. Whether it’s a short hike through Camel's Back Park or fishing in Esther Simplot Park, there’s definitely a gorgeous outdoor vista near you.

Boise
  • Old Idaho Penitentiary

Location: 2445 Old Penitentiary Rd

Built in 1870, this historic prison is one of only four territorial prisons open to the public. The site offers historical tours and boasts one of the nation’s largest collections of

military memorabilia.

  • Idaho Botanical Gardens

Location: 2355 North Old Penitentiary Road

Close to the Old Idaho Penitentiary sits a scenic garden. It’s a beautiful vista year-round, and often hosts concerts and other events.

  • Bogus Basin

Location: 2600 N Bogus Basin Road

Most locals know Bogus Basin as the premier skiing, snowboarding and tubing destination. However, the recreational resort also offers mountain biking, a roller coaster, and hiking in the warmer months.

  • Freak Alley

Location: 210 N 9th St

An alley on 9th Street hosts a rotating gallery of visual artwork for artists to display their talents. Take a unique photo to commemorate the trip and see an unusual Boise attraction.

  • Idaho Steelheads Game

Location: Idaho Central Arena

Depending on the season, taking in our local hockey team may be the perfect entertainment. Check the schedule to see when the Steelheads play next.

  • Birds of Prey Center

Location: 5668 W Flying Hawk Ln

Home to the Peregrine Fund, this nonprofit house endangered raptors from all over the world. Your visit helps support a good cause and offers a chance to interact with wildlife.

Idaho City

  • Idaho City Historical Area

Nestled in the heart of modern-day Idaho City, sits several historic attractions. Visit the Bogus Basin Museum, Boise Basin Mercantile, or even take a walking tour of the whole city.
